iFD mTrade
A modern solution for mobile trade
mTrade is an application supporting the following activities:
- Negotiating and accepting clients' orders on the spot
- Automatic loading of the orders in your ERP system
- Sales with issuing invoices at the client's site
The system consists of three major modules: mTrade Desktop, mTrade Mobile & mTrade Connect.
Central module mTrade Desktop
This is a Windows-based application designated for stationary data processing, management and administration of the mobile devices.
It supports the following features:
- Processing the major data of the trade system: clients, articles, prices and discounts, traders, trucks, etc. This data can be managed entirely in the mTrade Desktop or to load from ERP system through mTrade Connect;
- Supplying transport means with goods for home delivery. The supplied goods are kept in stock in the respective transport means;
- Unloading the returned goods from the transport means;
- Stock-taking of the available quantities in the transport means;
- Tracking the status of all the mobile devices and the activities run in them in real time if equipped with GSM/GPRS or after returning in offline mode;
- Creating intermediate reports for the sales done via the mobile devices;
- Administration of the mobile devices and their users;
- Managing the data exchange with the ERP system;
- Service functions such as: automatic installation and update of the mobile application, database support, log file for the mobile devices operation, etc.
mTrade Mobile
The module operates on different Windows (Windows CE or Windows Mobile) mobile devices. It has two main functions: Mobile Dealer and Mobile Shop. The two independent applications can be licensed and installed together or separately according to the company's needs.
Mobile Dealer
Mobile Dealer helps the traders to negotiate deliveries at the client's site by providing all the necessary product and price information of the company. If a new delivery is negotiated, the client's details can be entered in the mobile device. The orders are sent to the central module in real time (GSM/GPRS) or offline after the trader is back in the office.
Mobile Shop
Mobile Shop performs home delivery and invoicing at client's site. After the truck is loaded in the central store, its stock data is loaded in the mobile device. The driver-trader sells to the client the requested quantities and issues receipt or invoice depending on the payment procedure.
The choice of articles can be done by barcode scanner; the confirmation of the received goods is validated by the client's signature on Touch screen. During travelling time, the driver has information about the goods available in the truck.
The sales are sent to the central module in real time (GSM/GPRS) or offline after the trader is back in the office.
Interface module mTrade Connect
The interface module can be used for integration with the available ERP system. The module is specifically designed for flexible configuration of the exchange formats.
